How to Qualify for the
CFP® Certification Examination
To earn
CFP® Certification,
candidates must first qualify to sit for the CFP® Certification
Examination. The four most common methods to qualify are:
1.
Six qualifying courses through The American College
2.
CFP Board-Registered programs such as the Accelerated
Certificate in Financial Planning! Contact Kaplan
Financial at 1-888-694-3568 to enroll in your program; or
3.
Challenge Status by already holding either the ChFC®, CLU®, CFA or CPA
designation; be a licensed attorney; or have a PhD (Business or
Economics) or DBA from an accredited US college or university; or
4.
